Job Description
Install, replace, and commission residential heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, water heaters, tankless units, HRVs) for an established Hamilton HVAC contractor in business since 2006. Install and modify ductwork, gas piping, venting, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and electrical connections; start up and commission new systems; perform testing and quality control; educate homeowners; and complete documentation to code and manufacturer specs. Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and weekend work. Pay: $21.59-$46.72/hour.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of residential HVAC installation experience. Valid Gas Technician 2 (G2) License. Strong knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, HRVs, and tankless water heaters. Ability to read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. Experience with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork, gas piping, and venting. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, attics, and crawlspaces. Valid driver's license with a clean record. Preferred: ODP certification, Working at Heights, 313D Refrigeration License.
